چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim: Today, the process of industrialization and rapid growth of technology in human societies and various industries has caused the human being ever more vulnerable to accidents and risks. measures is not adequate to protect human, economic and environmental assets in industries. Therefore, promoting Health, Safety and Environment (HSE culture), as an alternative approach, is of great importance. The purpose of this study is to collect information about the HSE culture of a power distribution and transmission company and provide recommendations for reducing the likelihood and severity of accidents. Methods: This is a cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study hat was conducted in 2018. The statistical population of the study includes 175 employees of a power distribution and transmission company and the research tool was HSE culture questionnaire and was used to measure the safety culture from the Likert scale. Sampling was simple random method. At the end of the data using statistical software and the tests SPSS23 T, ANOVA, logistic regression and correlation coefficients were analyzed. Results: The mean age and work experience of the staff was 32.52 - 6.09 and 10.51 - 8.91, respectively. The average safety performance score of the company was 186.48 with a standard deviation of 15.92. That share of people with negative immune culture (scores below 176) was determined to be 35.4%. There was a significant relationship between safety culture and work experience (P-value <0.05). There was no significant relationship between education with job, experience, education level and accident rate (P-value > 0.05).Conclusion: Among the variables of the safety culture, education was the most important factor we considered in this research; in other words, education in all occupations, with any previous education and with each other, should be considered as an incident. To improve safety culture in an organization, not only psychological and personal factors but also organizational and environmental factors should thoroughly be investigated. In this way, the actual problems would be identified, appropriate problem-solving methodologies be implemented and, ultimately incidents rate be reduced.
