Effect of night ventilation on operative temperature and thermal comfort

Abtahi house is a naturally ventilated house built in Shiraz, Iran. This is a courtyard house and courtyard is a perfect passive strategy, especially with respect to natural ventilation. In this house there is plenty of rooms at different levels. One zone is selected to see the difference of operative temperature with and without night ventilation. In the first week of the summer period, from 1 AM -6 AM two scenarios of night ventilation and no night ventilation are measured. First of all, the house is stimulated in the Rhino software and then by ladybug and honeybee plug-ins are analyzed. The result shows that by night ventilation lower operative temperature is measured in the zone.
