چکیده مقاله:

In this paper the free vibration analysis of functionally graded beams by meshless collocation method for clamped and simply supported boundary condition was investigated. A refined hyperbolic shear deformation theory is used and stretching effect is assumed. Theproperties of beams are assumed to vary along height of the beam with power-law relation. Equations of motion are derived from Hamilton’s principle and solved by using meshless collocation method. Multi-quadric Radial basis function (MRBF) is used for determiningshape function of meshless method. Also variable shape parameter (VSP) method is used for determining the shape parameter of radial basis functions. The effect of power-law index and side to thickness ratio on natural frequency is studied. The results are validated by theother papers. It can be concluded that meshless collocation method using radial basis functions is accurate for free vibration of higher order shear deformable functionally graded beams with various boundary conditions.
