From Nanopowders to Nanostructured ZnO Varistors

In this research, after preparation of zinc oxide nanopowders via high-energy ball mill (SPEX) and evaluation of its particle size distribution, the samples were made and sintered at different temperatures. The physical and electrical properties were measured and microstructure and particle size were studied by SEM and by zeta potential particle size analyzer. For determining the grain size distribution X-ray diffraction analyses were also used. Finally, The I-V characteristics of varistors were obtained with I-V meter.
