Comparing Breast Cancer in the World and Iran, 2008- 2018

Introduction & Aim: BC (Breast Cancer) is the first Incidence cancer in Iran and the world. In this study, some of properties of BC in the world and Iran were compared in 2008 and 2018. Method: Data of study was used of estimates of the International Agency for Research on Cancer in 2008 and 2018. Tableau software was used for the distribution of BC. Results: After analyzing data BC in the world and Iran, Incidence BC in the world in 2008 changed from 10.9% to 11.6% of total cancers in 2018. ASR of new cases in 2008 increased from 38.9 to 46.3 for per 100,000 people in 2018 in the world. Incidence BC in 2008 has increased from 9% to 12.5% of total cancers in 2018 for Iran, also ASR of BC has increased from 2008 to 2018 in Iran (18.4 to 31.0 per 100000). Conclusion: Incidence of BC in Iran has grown significantly during 10 years. Therefore, screening tests and studying epidemiological is suggested for implementing prevention programs.
