چکیده مقاله:

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between copy number variations (CNVs) and body weight traits in different ages, collected from 309 F2 chickens. These chickens were generated by a reciprocal cross between the Urmia indigenous and Arian commercial broiler line. All chickens were genotyped by a 60K SNP BeadChip. CNVs were detected by PennCNV software. The association analysis between CNVs and body weight traits was carried out using the following model:Yijkx = μ+Si+Bj+Gk+fx+eijkxwhere, Yijkx is body weight traits, μ is population mean, Si, Bj and Gk are fixed effects of sex, hatch and CNV, fx is random family effect, and eijkx is random residual effect. General linear model, implemented in Minitab software was used to analyze the data.Birth weight, and body weight at 3 and 6 weeks of age were significantly lower in deletion of two copies (CN=0) and deletion of one copy (CN=1) than single copy duplication (CN=3). No significant differences was observed among CNs in body weight at 9 weeks. Similar results have reported in the study of Rao, et al. (2016).
