چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays many fuel options and alternative hybrid vehicles are under consideration and studying to dilute the destructive effects of climate changes, air pollution and global warming. In this regard, widespread of hybrid cars, especially those with zero emissions, have attracted ample attention. In this research study, a fuel cell -electric hybrid car is studied. This car includes an electric motor which is connected to a battery pack and a PEM fuel cell. For analysing the vehicle performance, two driving cycles are considered; New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) and FTP-75 driving cycle. A developed computational model for the performance analysing of this hybrid car is used here. Fuel cell consumption, battery state of charge (SoC) and regenerative braking strategies are the major factors to compare the performance of car in these two driving cycles. Results show that the battery SoC in NEDC driving cycle is decreasing during the cycle and in FTP-75 driving cycle it increases. Otherwise, instantaneous fuel consumption (i.e., hydrogen consumption) in FTP-75 driving cycle is more than NEDC driving cycle and also, the total fuel consumption in FTP-75 driving cycle is more than NEDC to. At the end, the effect of regenerative braking strategies in both driving cycle has been studied.
