چکیده مقاله:

IntroductionGVHD is the main complication of Hematopoietic cell transplantation. GVDH is an immunological disorder that affect many organ systems such as tract, skin, liver and lung. Despite considering all risk factors for prevention of GVHD, using mesenchymal stem cells as a FDA approved treatment method to reduce the symptoms has been used for many years. In this review article, we will assess the effect of MSC-exosomes in reducing GVHD symptoms.MethodsRelevant English-language literature was searched and retrieved from PubMed search engine (200-2017). The following keywords were used: Graft-Versus-Host-Disease , Mesenchymal Stem Cell and Exosome .ResultsResearches on MSC-derived-exosomes has expanded in recent years. Because they contain different vital molecules like heat shock proteins, mRNAs, cytoskeletal proteins and many other components which can be influential in many cellular pathways. Considering several murine investigations, some studies have utilized bone marrow-derived exosomes to reduce the symptoms of patients and they showed a significant effect in comparison with previous patients who received MSCs.conclusionAlthough using MSCs is a routine method for treatment of GVHD, different adverse effects of injecting MSCs such as the persistence of its biological potency or it may get amplified over the time when the need has been resolved. On the other hand, their differentiation capacity or the possibility of making occlusion in the distal microvasculature in intravascular administration can be problematic. So, the using of MSC-derived-exosomes for reducing the symptoms of GVHD can be considered as a better method for treatment of GVHD.
