چکیده مقاله:

Microfluidic technologies are emerging as powerful tools for tissue engineering and biological studies. One emerging use of microfluidic systems is the generation of nanoparticles for various application. In this system, we can control various experimental parameters including reacting time, concentration and flow rate to optimize the formation of nanoparticles. By this method we synthesized curcumin loaded in chitosan nanoparticles. Curcumin is a yellow pigment in the spice turmeric that has been associated with anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and antibacterial activities. It is lack of water solubility and relatively low bioavailability set major limitations for it is therapeutic use. Because of these reasons we loaded curcumin in chitosan, chitosan is a low toxic, biodegradable, biocompatible and safe polymer which is used in production of nanoparticles.The dynamic light scattering and scanning electron microscopy results showed that the diameter sizes of sample were in the range from 100 to 400 nm along with a narrow size distribution and their morphology was spherical .Then release trend of curcumin from nanoparticles was investigated by spectrophotometry in In-vitro conditions and time of release was suitable
