Rule of Law in Han Feizi Philosophy

In this paper, the author analyzes the meaning of the rule of law, and, evaluates the Chinese major political theorist of the pre-Qin period, Han Feizi, thoughts on legalism and examine whether his philosophy is in conformity with contemporary concept of the rule of law. The purpose of this article, among others, is to comparatively study the current concept of rule of law and its classical implication in Chinese ancient philosophy.
