چکیده مقاله:

Tubular lap joints are used in many structures and analysis of them become important for design and material selection. A hybrid joint is a combination of adhesively bonded and mechanical fastener such as rivets. In the present work torsion load capacity of bonded and hybrid tubular lap joint between composite and metal tubes is investigated. Cohesive Zone Model based analytical solution in tubular bonded lap joints is used to achieve the torsion load capacity, effective bonded length and verifying the finite element model. Also the effect of adding aluminum rivets to tubular bonded joint on torsional capacity is studied. According to results, due to benefits of adhesively joints such as stress distribution in bonded area and also the effect of rivet, the stress concentration around the rivet location is controlled by cohesive. Also the torsion capacity of tubular bonded joint increase dramatically by using rivets as a mechanical fastener
