ENERGY SAVING AND ITS PLACE IN THE STRATEGY OF RUSSIA’S ENERGY DEVELOPMENT

In the paper the energy safety and environmental problems connected with energy saving have been analyzed. It is shown that the energy saving and power efficiency increase in all spheres of the human activity; restraining power consumption growth are drastic ways of environmental protection since they simultaneously save both power resources, and the means which are necessary on a struggle against pollution and ecological consequences of energy generation. Ecological projects, their so-called «pure» kinds, are less investmentattractive. Thereupon, problems of power resources saving become of higher-priority among Russian government obligatory.
