Prehospital care in burned patients

A burn injury is an emergency which needs immediate care and treatment. Emergency Management Systems (EMS) as a prehospital care provider must be aware of types of burns, initial assessment of burn patient, inhalation injury and distinguishing which one needs burn referral center. In initial assessment airway management is always a big problem for EMS providers.airway management is always the first priority and needs to be addressed soon before airway edema. Furthermore, in man mad disasters and emergencies such as chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear warfare (including terrorism) hazards considering the best decision for medical care, transfer and treatment. The more care we get in pre hospital for the victims, the better health we get in hospital.
