What are the perceived needs in Women with preeclampsia : A Qualitative study

چکیده مقاله:

Objective: To Understanding needs of women with preeclampsia about the threatening problem of their lives. It is essential to the construction of prenatal actions care that can improve their health promotion. Methods: This research is a qualitative study of content analysis type. Purposeful sampling and semi- structured individual interviews were performed for data collection. The participants were women who experience preeclampsia and health providers. The data were saturated after 27 interviews. To assess the validity and reliability, we used the four criteria provided by Lincoln and Goba . The conventional qualitative data analysis was used to analyze the qualitative data. Results: Perception needs of care Women with preeclampsia led to extraction 8 sub- categories which were also classified in two main categories:1- needs related to the health care system and 2- needs related to individual .Also Results showed that mothers need to get further information via health-care provider and get more support from their relatives and community.Conclusion:Considering that women who experienced preeclampsia have different needs. So educating health care for providing more comprehensive care to these high risk pregnant mother seems necessary
