In this study, the nonlinear thermodynamic behavior of hydromagnetic (HM) Falkner-Skan Casson fluid flow embedded in a porous medium is investigated. Employing the basic hypothesis of conservations of the mass, momentum and energy, the governing equations along with the boundary conditions are derived, and converted into the ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using similarity transformations. These transformed governing boundary-layer equations are solved through the homotopy analysis method (HAM) which enables us to obtain approximate analytical solutions of the strongly nonlinear problems. The convergence analysis of the presented HAM-series solution is graphically carried out by choosing admissible ranges of the auxiliary parameters. The obtained results are compared with those numerical findings available in the literature to show the accuracy and reliability of the HAM-series solution. Also, a parametric study is performed to investigate the effects of governing physical parameters (e.g., Casson fluid parameter, magnetic field parameter, Prandtl number etc.) on the solution. It is seen that the velocity profile is greatly affected by the Buoyancy force. Moreover, it is found that by increasing the Casson fluid parameter, thermal boundary-layer thickness will be decreased.
