چکیده مقاله:

Cylindrical shells are used in various industries. These shells may be used in the structure of gas turbines, aircraft bodies, missiles, spacecraft, submarines, tankers, nuclear reactors, pressure vessels’, pipelines, and so on. In most cases, it is necessary that the ratio of strength to weight is as high as possible so that the designed structure is optimized in terms of energy, cost and cost savings. One of the ways to increase the ratio of strength to weight is to use sandwich structures. Sandwich structures are often made up of two thin and rigid face sheet of metal or composite and a thick and light core, often made of low strength foam or honey comb. Face sheet and core are connected to each other by an adhesive layer, with no relative displacement at the junction. In this research, a sandwich cylindrical shell was constructed consisting of two composite face sheets joined by eight composite beam I shapes as reinforcement. Modal analysis test were done experimentally and simulated and the results were compared. The results showed that results of the experimental and simulated are good agreement.
