Multivariate analysis of organochlorine Pesticides (OCPs) residues of Chalus Rive discharged to Caspian Sea

Multivariate analysis of variance MANOVA was used to analyze the data obtained from this study.No significant difference was shown between the concentrations of all parameters during seasons and stations based on MANOVA test. The maximum percentage of kelthane, β-BHC and DDT were 75, 75 and 100% over the year, respectively. The minimum percentage of kelthane, β-BHC and DDT were 50, 50 and 50% over the year, respectively. The maximum concentrations of kelthane, β-BHC and DDT were 15.4, 21.6 and 9.2μg/l in stations 4 (fall) and 2 (summer), respectively. The minimum concentrations of kelthane, β-BHC and DDT were 3, 3.1 and 3μg/l in station1 (summer), station 2(fall) and stations 1and 4(summer), respectively.
