چکیده مقاله:

We investigated a novel drug delivery system comprising nanoparticles based on chitosan/graphene oxide/folic acide for targeted delivery of the chemotherapeutic drugs. Graphene oxide is one of the best-known 2D nanomaterials for different applications especially biomedical employment and has properties such effective transportation capability, obvious toxicity, antibacterial treatment and etc. In this research graphene-oxide is accompanied with chitosan as natural cationic polysaccharide to increase compatibility. Chitosan has properties such biocompatibility, biodegradability, nontoxic, antibacterial, anti-infective activity. First graphene oxide is synthesized and then chitosan is grafted to oxide graphene by chemical interaction, and chitosan nanoparticle and graphene oxide hybrid nanocomposite is synthesized. The resulting nano-hybride is analyzed through different characterization methods such as morphological study like scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and etc. Then folic acid on carrier is loaded and release of drug is assessed. Results of this research show that combined chitosan to graphene oxide by chemical interaction causes creating holes that increase loading to %99.97 and release to 94% during 72 hours.
