چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Colon cancer affects the large intestine and it usually starts with polyps in the wall of the intestine. Symptoms may not appear until a later stage, but if they do, gastrointestinal problems are common symptoms. Treatment involves a combination of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery, possibly resulting in a colostomy. Recently Scientists have been attracted by stem cells. Mesenchymal Stem Cells are multipotent stem cells. The Ad-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (Ad-MSCs) affect MCs biology through different mechanisms. Currently, LPS has been introduced as an anti-tumor agent that is able to kill cancer cells. The present study examined the effects of LPS on SW-48 and MSCs as cytotoxic agents. Methods: In this study mesenchymal Stem cells-LPS have been co-cultured with SW48 and cell viability was analyzed by MTT assay and flow cytometry. Results: our data shows that in the presence of LPS, Ad-MSCs suppress SW-48 cells proliferation and survival. Conclusion: In compared of MSCs co-cultured SW, MSCs-LPS co-cultured SW could decreased survival of SW-48.
