The following information was obtained by using data of 9 articlesResults The most common microorganisms in the operating room that cause post-operative infections are Staphylococcus epidermidis (79.5%), Staphylococcus aureus (43%), Pseudomonas (27%) and Staphylococcus Coagulase Negative (25.5%) and fungus Aspergillus. It also has the highest transmission rate of infections through water taps, so washing hands with liquid soap and iodine scrub, and then drying hands, .can eliminate up to 53% of these microorganisms Conclusion Due to the high effect of hand washing on reducing the contamination of microorganisms and its direct relationship with reducing the incidence of nosocomial infections, washing hands before surgery and full .compliance with the principles of scrubbing is recommended
