چکیده مقاله:
In this lecture it will be given an introduction in the theory of stress in off – nominal (unexpected) situations on the example of High Mountain expeditions. To use the High mountain paradigm to investigate stress behavior in extreme environment was developed by Marcus Stueck and Hans Ullrich Balzer under the support of colleaques (e.g. Ullrich Sack) at Leipzig university. In different studies they investigated the effects of high mountain expeditions up to 8.000 Meter in Tibet, Nepal, Argentina, Kirgistan since 1995 on Immune- and psycho-physiological system. The lecturer will relate the results to the field of preparedness for natural catastrophics and emergency medical situations . The basic mechanisms of human stress coping will be visible and can be used for trainings for resilience and posttraumatic growth
