چکیده مقاله:

The family Eulophidae contains four subfamilies: Tetrastichinae, Entiinae, Eulophidae, and Entedoninae that 172 species have been reported from Iran. The species of this family indicate a wide diversity in terms of host preferences, therefore they play a major role in controlling pests in nature. So they have potential importance in biological control programs against pests. , Only one species of the subfamily Entiinae has been recorded from Iran. In this research, the galls of wild rose (Rosa beggeriana Schrenk) were collected in Bidkhan, Bardsir county located in Kerman province during 2010 to 2012. The galls were transferred to the laboratory. Among the reared material, Euderus albitarsis Zetterstedt, 1838 (Entiinae) is a new record for the fauna of Iran that increases the number of species of this subfamily in Iran into two species. Pediobius cassidae Erdös, 1958 (Entedoninae) is recorded for the first time associated with Rosa beggeriana. The gall was induced by Diplolepis fructuum (Rubsaamen, 1895) (Cynipidae). This species has already been recorded from an unknown host in Chahar Mahal-e-Bakhtiari province and is a new record for Kerman province.
