چکیده مقاله:

In this article, the effect of Citrus aurantium L. oil on anxiety and its involvement in the dopaminergic pathway in male rats has been investigated. In this study, 44 small experimental male rats were placed in control ,control and experimental groups. Injection of essential oil of Citrus aurantium L. with doses of 2.5 and 2.5% for 5 days. Injection of drugs (haloperidol and bromo-cryptine) was performed on day 5 and 30 minutes before the injection of essential oil. Then, the anxiety behavior of the rats was evaluated using a high-grade Maze test. The results of this study showed that essential oil of orange spring at doses of 2.5 and %5 significantly (p <0.001) increased the time of stay in open arms, but haloperidol and essential oil in different doses significantly Increases in open arms (p <0.001). Bromocriptine injections significantly increased the incidence of open arms (p <0.001) but did not significantly change the number of open arms. The results show that essential oil of orange spring reduces anxiety behavior.
