چکیده مقاله:

The lack of effective gravity (microgravity) has numerous effects on the physiology of the body, including on the cardiovascular system. Microgravity and change in the body state of the gradient will change the hydrostatic pressure and cause the body fluid to move from the lower extremities to the upper limbs. Folic acid is one of the most important vitamins in group B, which is usually recommended for pregnant women. This vitamin plays a very important role in the development of the central embryonic organs. In this study, the effect of microgravity on heart development in Wistar rats and their possible effects on folic acid treatment have been studied. Fertilization animals were randomly divided into four groups: control group, folic acid group, folic acid, and microgravity group, and microgravity group. Rats were treated with folic acid and microgravity condition on days 9 to 16 of gestation. At the end of the 19th day of pregnancy, the rats were killed, the embryos removed from the animal s body, examined externally. Embryo weight and embryonic heart weight were measured. Data were analyzed by SPSS software. Observations showed that microgravity on the days of heart development decreases fetal weight and embryonic heart’s weight. Folic acid alone does not have an effect on the fetus, but when combined with microgravity, folic acid has a significant recovery effect
