Facile fabrication of multiwall carbon nanotube as a practical extractor for measurement of dexamethasone in biological sample

Multiwall carbon nanotube (MMWCNT) was synthesized to extract dexamethasone by solid-phase extraction in combination with high performance liquid chromatography-photodiode array detector (HPLC-PDA). A simple, rapid and sensitive reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method has been developed for the determination of dexamethasone in human serum. In this study, the benefits of MMWCNT combined with some properties such as easy magnetic separation offers good alternative for quantification of Dexamethasone.
