چکیده مقاله:

Poly (citric acid)- poly (ethylene glycol)-Poly (citric acid) (PCA-PEG-PCA) triblock copolymers(ABA- type) as biocompatible compounds were synthesized in three different molecular weights and applied as nanocarriers and reducing agents as well. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were encapsulated within the above-synthesized linear-dendritic copolymers. Protected metal nanoparticles by PCA-PEG-PCA were stable in water for several months and agglomeration was not occurred. Characterizations of the macromolecules and nanoparticles were carried out using different spectroscopy methods. Diameter of the synthesized copolymers was investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS) experiments experiments and it was between 1.8 and 2.5 nm for the three different molecular weights. The size of AuNPs and also reducing ability and loading capacity of the linear–dendritic nanocarriers were investigated within a simultaneously reduction reaction of the HAuCl4 and encapsulation of AuNPs by using UV-visible spectroscopy and TEM It was found that the loading capacity of PCA-PEG-PCA macromolecules directly depends on the size of dendritic citric acid parts whereas there is an inverse relationship between the PCA PEG-PCA molecular weight and the size of synthesized AuNPs.
