چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays nanomaterials are effective alternatives for water treatment instead of conventional methods which are expensive and time- consuming. Two fantastic properties have attracted much attention toward nanoparticles as sorbents. One is that they have high surface area. The other one is that they can enhance their chemical reaction toward target compound. There are two types of wastewaters. First one is from industrial processes. The second one is wastewater that has been polluted with human wastes which are called domestic wastewaters. Water and groundwater can mostly enter sewers through cracks, defective link, and manholes, and it is called flow. Some flows which are called inflow categorized as steady, direct and delayed. Steady inflows such as high-level groundwater and springs enter the sewer system due to discharge. Direct inflows are flows which increase the flow in the sewer after rainfall. Delayed inflow is part of rainfall which does not penetrate the sewer instantly and it takes time to drain. In this study, we pointed out that possibility of wastewater treatment by nano-adsorbent materials.
