Microgrid energy management just has been studied greatly but each research has shortcomings in ignoring some aspects of this intricate problem. In this paper a comprehensive model for optimized energy management of a grid-connected microgrid has been proposed which includes both electrical and thermal loads to relieve former models deficiencies. In this model, a smart electrical and thermal energy storage system has been proposed.All of the possible uncertainties of microgrid such as wind and solar power, loads and market price has been analyzed using point estimate method from the stochastic point of view.Demand side management as an effective factor could help in operator’s cost reduction. Here, an optimized operation of microgrid base on loads participation in different demand response scenarios has been implemented and in the following the proposed method has been tested on a typical microgrid with different types of electrical and thermal loads and DGs. Results clarify the efficiency of the adopted method in operation costs
