The Applicability of Decision Support Technologies in Knowledge Management

Organizational Knowledge is one of the most important assets for them . All of companies do their best to manage these valuable resources. A correct and well defined knowledge management structure can brings competitive advantages for organization. DSS is CBIS which supports decision making processes under different conditions. Besides of this ability, DSS can support all of the knowledge management steps and processes . this function is hidden in the nature of DSS . life cycle and components of a DSS can create , store share and reuse organizational knowledge and enrich the cycle of knowledge management . this paper explains the concept of knowledge , knowledge management and DSS. then illustrates how a DSS can support different processes of knowledge management .
