The Impact of Net Balance of Bank Facilities on Value Added of Economic Sectors

One of the most common methods of enterprise financing in Iran is loan. So, granting facilities to each economic sector is one of the important variables in the economy. Inthis research the impact of the variable of banking system facilities net balance granted during 1355-1389 in the sectors of agriculture, industry and mine, housingand construction and commerce and services on value added of the same sector and impacts of economic sectors credit rationing by the Central Bank are surveyed. Inorder to apply the time series variables first, stationary examination and convergence examination on the variables; and then estimation of the model by means of Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method have been done in all sectors. The results of the model in agriculture, mine and industry and commerce and services state that there is positive relationship between net balance of facilities and value added of the same sector. It also has the biggest impact on the various sectors of economy. In themodel of house and construction the combination of dummy and net balance of facilities variables has negative relationship with value added of this sector.Although credit rationing by the Central Bank during different years has changed, the operation of the banks on the basis of customers’ credit demand has an almoststable trend. So, it is proposed that in order to obtain the dedicated shares, the government should conduct the credits to these sectors by means of persuasive toolsand protection of generating sectors.
