چکیده مقاله:

sustainable economic growth depends on an efficient financial system to allocate financial resources to economic sectors that need it most. The most importantcharacteristics of Iran’s financial system are the limited financial tools and institutions on one hand and bank-based financial system on the other hand. During last decade, developing private banking, and changing the needs of bank’s customers and business climates, have made banking sector face significant transformations especially in their services. One of the most important banking transformations is moving from product-based to customer-based approach. In the new approach, banking services are tailored to better match the needs of different groups of customers. As result, banking services have been categorized into four major types including retail banking, corporate banking, private banking, and virtual banking. Each one focuses on the needs of their target customers. Retail banking provides limited services to wide variety of retail customers. Corporate banking provides integrated and tailored financial solutions to meet the exact needs of businesses. Private banking provides banking, investment and other financial services to wealthy individuals while helping them manage and preserve their wealth. Finally, virtual banking provides online services through which customers manage their finances quickly and efficiently. This paper is organized as follows: the first section argues the characteristics of Iran’s financial sector (including capital market and money market), and their effects on the economic development. After reviewing different finance solutions, the second section introduces the integrated finance solution that is developed and provided by corporate banking.
