Nickel- phosphorus coating were plated on Brass substrate from sulfate bath by electroless process. The effect of pH and stirring of solution were studied on corrosion behavior of plated substrate by potentiodynamic polarization (DC) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) methods in 3.5 w% of Nacl solution. Moreover, morphology and the chemical composition of plated samples were characterized by the field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The results show that corrosion current density of coated samples in the pH of 4.8 obtained 1.47 μA cm_2 compared to uncoated substrate 4.79 μA cm_2. Also, coating resistance of coated samples obtained 31-32 kΩ.cm2 compared uncoated substrate 2.4 kΩ.cm2.
