چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: The cultural situation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the long history of intellectual growth in the field of medicine, as well as the health system attention to the prevention and improvement of lifestyle, require comprehensive view of health preservation in planning. Despite the existence of strong scientific treasures, the implementation of Iranian medicine programs at the health system level has not started so far, which is rooted in problems that need to be addressed and addressed seriously. Method This descriptive study was conducted in 1396, in which 50 doctors, 40 midwives and 15 nurses working in health teams were interviewed based on pre-defined form. Findings: The results of the analysis of 100 informational forms showed that the average age of the respondents was 39 years, the highest was 52 and the lowest was 20 years. 85% of the participants did not know enough about Iranian medicine, and 70% of the people familiar with the principles of Iranian medicine stated that they used sanatorium hygiene instructions for treating their patients and preventive recommendations. The mentioned obstacles and the reasons for not using traditional medicine in the treatment of patients in the order of priority were as follows: Sufficient knowledge of the target group to study the principles of traditional medicine Lack of traditional medical treatment protocols Inadequate access to traditional educational textbooks Discussion: The results of the study suggest the need for serious and principled planning in the training of health teams and the medical community of the country, and develop and formulate appropriate executive guidelines in this regard.
