چکیده مقاله:

BackhroundsObjective: ACL is one of the most commonly encountered elements in knee trauma. The purpose of this study was to compare the Necch Intercondylar width index in patients with and without knee ligament rupture following knee trauma. Methods This is a case-control study. Knee trauma patients referred to hospitals werecategorized in two groups with and without knee cruciate ligament rupture as casegroup (n=47) and control (n=47). Width Nachch Intercondylar is calculated based onthe knee MRI results and is compared in two groups. Data were analyzed using SPSS22 software. Results mean of medial and lateral posterior tibial slope of knee trauma patients withcruciate ligament rupture was significantly higher than patients with knee traumawithout cruciate ligament rupture (0.74± 5.78, and 1.13± 6.31, P <0.05). The mean ofIntercondylar Notch width index in patients with knee trauma with cruciate ligamentrupture was significantly lower than patients with knee trauma without cruciateligament rupture (0.02±0.25, and 0.02±0.24, P <0.05). The mean of intercondylarnotch angle in knee trauma patients with cruciate ligament rupture was significantlylower than patients with knee trauma without cruciate ligament rupture (8.47±54.29,and 11.99±50.93, P <0.05). In multivariate logistic regression analysis, notch width ofintercondylar and posterior tibial slope were statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusions Intercondylar nach width index and intercondylar notch angle and medialand lateral posterior tibial slope are associated with cruciate ligament rupture inpatients with knee trauma.
