چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common androgen deficiencies reported in the range of 4 to 25%. Physical and physical appearance of women with polycystic ovary syndrome such as hirsutism, obesity, acne, hair loss, and the resulting consequences can reduce their sexual function. In this study, the effect of this syndrome on the sexual function of Iranian immigrant women has been investigated. The purpose of this study was to generalize the experiences of women with polycystic ovarian syndrome regarding the effects of complications on their sexual ancestry.Materials and Methods: The present study was a qualitative study using content analysis method. Using an in-depth, semi-structured, in-depth interview, 20 women with PCOS aged 18-39 years in association with the effect of the disease on sexual function was examined. The interviews continued until the data were collected and all the interviews were recorded and transcribed. The data are obtained using content analysis by inductive and deductive methods. Extracted themes include the effects of an illness caused by infertility treatments, such as determining the time of proximity at a specific time, or recommending a lack of proximity on specific days, and a lack of satisfaction with the sex of a woman due to his behavior. Results: According to the findings of this study, patients with polycystic ovary syndrome are affected by the prevalence of sexual function due to illness and treatment method, and the disease can affect the sexual function of the affected women and his wife. It seems that the provision of sexual counseling services in couples with polycystic ovary syndrome appears to be necessary. Conclusion: It is advisable for these couples to be regularly consulted in order to meet their sexual needs and expectations.
