Comparing lifestyle in women with and without Infertility

چکیده مقاله:

Objective: Infertility is a common issue that affects women and international statistics indicate that this problem is increasing. Nutrition and diet, health behaviors, lifestyle and stress are factors affecting the incidence of Infertility. The aim of this study was to compare lifestyle in women with and without Infertility.Material and Methods: This descriptive-comparative study is carried out with convenience sampling on 116 and 20-45 years old women with Infertility and 116 women without it refereed to Fatemiyeh Hospital in Hamadan city. Data are collected using demographic questionnaire, nutrition, physical activity perceived social support, perceived stress questionnaires and are analyzed using SPSS-17 software, descriptive statistics and Mann-Whitney tests, independent T-test and chi-square.Results: Results obtained from data analysis showed that there was statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of nutrition, perceived social support, perceived stress questionnaires (p<0.001) , but there was not statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of physical activity.Conclusion: Given the results, training and awareness are necessary for women and emphasis on modified diet, perceived social support, reduced stress are recommended as a non-medical option for women with Infertility.
