Experimental Based Relationships between Plastic Injection Molding Process Variables and Dimensions of Molded Parts

This research is an effort to investigate the types of relationships between plastic injection molding processing parameters and the shrinkage of molded parts. In order to bring into account the interactions between molding parameters, a full factorial scheme was employed to design and analyze the experiments. In this research an experimental based relationship was formulated to relate the effects of different settings of molding parameters to the part dimensions.
