Advances in neuroimaging have clearly changed the way that human brain function, dysfunction, and rehabilitation are being conceptualized and studied. Neuroimaging plays a crucial role in early diagnosis and yields essential information regarding tissue integrity, a factor that remains a key therapeutic determinant.Non-invasive CT or MR angiography images can be obtained during initial imaging evaluation for identification and characterization of vascular lesions, including occlusions, aneurysms, and malformations in other words, noninvasive vascular imaging (CTA, MRA) to assess the location and extent of clot and perfusion imaging to assess viable tissue are promising imaging techniques that may be used to select patients for novel thrombolytic agents and interventional devices.New advanced imaging techniques such MRI with Diffusion-Weighted Imaging(MRI-DWI), CT Perfusion and MR Perfusion and CT angiography are now being used successfully for stroke imaging. Although not represented in this issue, radioligand-based technologies such as positron emission tomography (PET), and electrophysiological approaches such as magnetoencephalography (MEG), will also offer unique insights into the correlates and substrates of neural rehabilitation.Because Neuroimaging modality plays an important role in progress of rehabilitation, so The aim of this study was to review and summarize recent updates relevant to rehabilitation Functional and Neuroimaging.
