چکیده مقاله:

Purpose: In this study we evaluate the agreement of the optical low-coherence reflectometry (OLCR) device LENSTAR LS900 with partial coherence interferometry (PCI) device IOLMaster700 Methods: as a result of our study, 128 eyes of 72 patients (67 cases by IOLMaster and 61 cases by Lenstar method) were evaluated. All patients were operated by a surgeon and all biometry were performed by an experienced technician. Patients were evaluated 1 month after surgery to determine the refractive errors. ,Wecompare the mean absolute refractive error after surgery in two groups using paired t-test. Results: The results showed that in the refractive error study, the mean absolute magnitude of refractive error before surgery in the IOLMaster group was 2.88 (SD: 4.05) and in the Lenstar group, 2.63(SD: 2.83) There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of refractive error before surgery (p value: 0.26). The mean axial length of the eye was 23.27 (SD: 1.41) in the IOLMaster method and in the Lenstar method 23.30 (SD: 1.39), which did not show any significant difference between the two groups (p value: 0.68). The mean absolute magnitude of refractive error after surgery in the IOLMaster group was 0.41 (SD: 0.29) and the mean of this was 0.46 (SD: 0.29) in the Lenstar group. There was no significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: There is no significant difference between IOLMaster and Lenstar biometry methods in determining the axis length and absolute magnitude of refractive error after cataract surgery
