چکیده مقاله:

This research was implemented on two stages , the first extracting the biodiesel from the wasted vegetable oil of soybean , the second stage was using the extracted fuel in operating the four-stroke diesel engine , the experiment was include two factors , first biodiesel with four mixing ratios (BD0.0, BD15, BD20, and BD25%) , second factor was the effect of the magnetic field ( high flow of 1800 gauss connected around the fuel tube 3 cm before entering the engine) on the performance of the engine and the exhaust gases emission , the engine performance was tested at three torque levels (0.0 . 2.0 and 4.0 N.m) . The brake power, specific fuel consumption and thermal efficiency , also exhaust gases (CO , CO2 and NOx) was studied . The results was showed that :there is no significant differences between BD15 treatment and traditional fuel treatment (BD0.0) in the performance indicators, while increasing the biofuel ratio to BD20, and BD25% led to decreasing the brake power , specific fuel consumption and brake thermal efficiency , it is noted that high engine torque led to high differences . when applying the high magnetic field on the fuel we noted that : decreasing the emission of CO and CO2 and increasing the Nitrogen oxides , also there was decreasing the specific fuel consumption
