Evaluation of Al-Musab Al-Aamm river water for irrigation purposes compared to global determinants

The study was included collection of water samples from five stations alongside the Al-Musab Al-Aamm river to study the physical and chemical characteristics in order to evaluation using it for irrigate by comparison this characteristics with global standard for irrigation. Proprieties are study include temperature, pH, conductivity, total dissolved solid, concentration of calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate, chloride, nitrate, sulfate, phosphate, and elements of sodium, potassium and lithium. The results were (32-33 ºC) (7.4-8.3) (2620-2930) µS / cm and (1990-1620) mg /l and (460-577) mg / l and (210-273) mg / l and (214-238) mg / l and (629- 688 mg / l) and 15-36 mg / l and (3.2-6.4 mg / l ) respectively. The study showed the possibility of using this water for irrigation after conducting a series of transactions for the purpose of reducing salinity rates or use in watering plants that bear high salinity rates.
