Impact of Bio-fertilizer EM-1 and FeSo4 on Fig transplants growth

The study was conducted at the lath – house which belongs to horticulture department / Faculty of Agriculture- University of Kufa during the period 1/3/2017- to 1/12/2017 to study the effect of four concentration of the bio – fertilizer EM – 1 (0,8,16,or 24 ) L/ ha and FeSO4 at (0,15,30, or 45)ml/L individually or combined on plant growth parameters of six – month fig transplant cultivar Aswad – Diyala . Results showed that a spraying with all treatments individually or in combination resulted in a significant increase in plant height , stem diameter , number of leaves , leaf area , number of branches and total leaf chlorophyll content . The combination between EM-1 at concentration of 24 ml / L and FeSO4 45 l/ha had the highest increase of growth parameters tested as compared to the control .
