New cause of Recurrent Miscarriage in a young female with novel Reciprocal Translocation t (2; 14): A case report

Back ground: Recurrent miscarriage (RM) is now one of major regeneration problem in all of the world. The reciprocal translocation especially balance rearrangements are known to be one of the main reasons. Case presentation: A cytogenetic analysis was performed on a couple with RM, that the analysis of the wife revealed a balance reciprocal translocation of t (2; 14) (q11; q24) whereas husband has a normal karyotype of 46, XY. Conclusion: we found that t (2; 14) is the novel reciprocal translocation that cause recurrent miscarriage, so recommendation of early cytogenetic tests may help parents with two times pregnancy loss.
