چکیده مقاله:

Malathion toxicity has been related to the blockage of acetylcholine esterase and lead tooxidative stress, while Cerium oxide nanoparticle represent potentially therapeuticnanoparticle that it can detoxify reactive oxygen species (ROS). In the present study theeffect of Cerium oxide nanoparticle was surveyed in adult male Wistar rats following a longtermtreatment (30 days, 120 mg/kg Ceo2, i.p.) against an acute insult caused by a singlemalathion exposure (200 mg/kg, i.p.). Malathion cause a significant decrease in acetylcholineesterase and glutathione reductase, glutathione S-transferase, catalase and superoxidedismutase but our study indicate that treatment with Ceo2 can result induction of Alaninetransaminase and Aspartate amino transferase. our data showed that the inhibition ofantioxidant enzymes as an effect of malathion can be relive by Ceo2 nanoparticle treatment.
