چکیده مقاله:

Considering the importance of the prohibited genes of Casp8 and Apaf1 tumors in the apoptosis process, in the present study, hypermetylation of these genes in gastric cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy was investigated. In 30 samples of the patient, 30 normal samples and the corresponding blood samples were taken using MS PCR technique to amplify genomic regulatory areas. The studies on blood and tissue samples of these patients showed a significant relationship between Casp8 gene germline methylation and gastric cancer (p <0.05) but there was no significant relationship between gastric cancer and Apaf1 gene mutations (P> 0.05). There was no significant relationship between Casp8 and Apaf1 gene mutations simultaneously (p> 0.05). Also, there was a significant relationship between Casp8 gene methylation in the blood with age of patients and Apaf1 gene methylation in Stage and Stage and grade of cancer, but there was no relationship with other clinical and pathologic symptoms in patients.
