چکیده مقاله:
Deep beams are considered to be important structural components due to their high using in civil engineering, including in tall buildings, silos. The presence of openings in the deep beam will reduce the shear capacity of the beam, so it is important to use the new methods such as the use of resistive shape memory alloys. Shape memory alloys (SMA) are a series of metals that can permanently restructure deformations and strains and eventually reinstate in their original form. Due to its high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties, high ductility and high compatibility with building members, these alloys can be used as an appropriate option for the reinforcement of deep beams. Because the reinforcement with FRP strips has problems such as FRP layers separation, SMAs can be a good alternative to improving the beam s deep resistance performance. The purpose of this study was used the novel method which was analyzed the influence of SMA on the behavior of deep beams with the opening and compared them with FRP layers.
