چکیده مقاله:
Heteropoly acids are known to be active, exhibit the unique property of structural stability and redox activity which facilitate photocatalytic activity because of suitable HOMO-LUMO gap [1,2]. These systems act as electron reservoirs because of their high capacity of accepting electrons without a major change in their structure. This, in turn causes heteropoly acids were tested as photocatalysts in the degradation of aqueous pesticides [3]. Meanwhile, the substituted heteropoly acid introduced to improvement the physico-chemical properties and catalytic activity [4]. However, the main drawback of homogeneous heteropoly acid is low surface area and its high solubility in polar solvent which recovery and separation become difficult. Here, we wish to report the zeolite-supported Ti-substituted POM to increase the photocataytic activity. The photocatalytic activity of these systems was investigated in the photodecolortion of methyl orange
