Common mistake by English Foreign Language learner

The purpose of the study is to understand the types of errors by EFL learners at intermediate level in English Language and suggest some recommendation to overcome the common mistakes. Mistakes are an essential part of learning languages. The data for the study were 100 students in the age range of 19-24 at intermediate level in English translation major from Khorasan Payame Noor University in region of Isfahan . The instrument is General English proficiency test included ,sentence completion, cloze test,comprehension question, writing exercise, picture description The results of the study indicate that the maximum errors made by subjects were from the realm of paired conjunction and the minimum number of errors was spelling
