Technology developments have led to the use of films and movies more than before. People have learned to watch the newest movies. But, recently most have been translated to English language. These trends have guided them to learn English, given the fact that English is an interactional language. On the other hand, movie is included an audio-visual content which may enhance learning skills sub-consciously, especially on listening skills. Wilson (1998)states that although there is a little empirical data and research to support the subject that audio-visual aids facilitate the learning of foreign language, noticeable confidence is placed in the value of those aids and materials to enhance the learning of foreign languages(Canning-Wilson, 1998). Visual aids, although, may be used most often in language classroom and they are the submitted tools but they are not considered as the main source for foreign or second language contexts. This study has investigated the effect of using movies on improving listening skill and components of language like pronunciation. The main goal was to help the learners as well as instructors to find an authentic model of instruction to simulate.
