چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Common complications after breast cancer surgery are secondary lymphedema, which affects the beauty and function of the upper limb. Massage of the affected area can greatly accelerate lymph flow and reduce lumbar edema. In this study, we decided to evaluate the massage affect on secondary lymph nodes after breast surgery. Methods: In this clinical trial study, 30 women were randomly selected from breast cancer surgery scheduled patients. Patients received massage for five hours each week and four hours a week for three hours a day. The volume and environment of the limb were measured and recorded before and after the interventions. Results: Significant correlation was observed before and after intervention in the involved limb size, so that intervention had a positive effect.Discussion and Conclusion: Regarding the effects of low massaging on the limb involved in lymphedema, other involved treatments are recommended.
